Ambush Player Tours Argentina with U15 U.S. National Team

Alpharetta Ambush Soccer club player, George Bello was recently selected as a member of the U15 U.S. National Team. In early April, the team traveled to Rosario, Argentina for the 2016 International Festival tournament. George is one of 20 players to represent the United States in this event. The boys played two youth academies from famous clubs in Argentina. Against San Lorenzo the U.S won 5 - 1 and George scored one of the goals from his position at left back. The U.S. team then played Newell's Old Boys which is Lionel Messi's original youth club. The game ended in a 2-2 draw. The U.S. then played the U15 Uruguay National Team and won 2-0 making them the champions of the tournament. George was selected as vice captain of the U.S. team and was the only player in the squad to play every minute of all the games. In the photo, George is in the front row on the right, jersey No. 8. In early June, the U15 U.S. National Team will be traveling to Croatia to compete in another event. Good luck George! Your Ambush family are very proud of you!!! Go Ambush!
